Behind the notebook
Writing from
the margins.
Welcome to Signals behind the Margins, a small little blogging space for weird stuff by a freak.
Howdy there, I'm Buzz.
I've got a life long interest in writing, tabletop games, worldbuilding with weird and unexpected things, and lots of other fun little hobbies.
This blog is largely a place for ideas that are still finding their shape. Some of these may be my thoughts on other TTRPGs or media, while others are focused on little writing concepts. Some entries may be useful at your gaming table, in which case please use them!
What you'll find here
Writing covers the exploration of stories, evoking atmospheres, and the eternal work of making things with the power of the word. At the table gathers game ideas and actual play logs that cover campaigns I've run. Notebook is for everything that hasn't found a tidy category. Avigard and DFI cover the respective setting ideas, worldbuilding, and other blog posts about those projects.
Please pull up a chair and follow whichever thread catches your eye.
